"This EP was recorded within a week or two give or take - in a shitty little studio in Los Angeles by the beach with the intention of just doing demos. It took a while to want to release these songs but after two years they just kept hanging around and need to be heard.

Long hazy nights and long walks helped capture what was intended as a double length hard heavy ugly rocking thing. From my point of view this EP embodies both the hard and slow of LA for me as well as what you can bring to the city.

This body of work seems like a quick memory for me what just happened to capture the raw toughness and also subtlety in a quick fashion that couldn't be replicated with high end equipment at this point in my musical career. At least with naturalism and pure affection. The result was pure honesty.

File under heavy metal experimental.
